Thursday, I was the late shift at the hospital so I could go with Sophie's first grade class on their field trip. We went to the IMAX at the Science Museum and saw a cool movie about two women who have spent their entire adult lives rescuing baby animals then raising them to be released into the wild as adults. One was in Borneo caring for orangutans and the other in Kenya with baby elephants. It was a really well done film and Sophie was amazed by the IMAX, "So cool, Daddy." After the movie we went to Hanover Wayside Park and had a picnic and, of course, hit the swings. It was fun but a bit muggy. We finished just in time for me to drive to work, in the rain (again). It is a sad sky.
