Changsha, Hunan

We left Guangzhou this morning but not before taking a few more photos of the airport from our room and the amazing bathroom retractible shade device.

We arrived in Changsha this morning on China Southern Airlines. The airport had just opened but the crowds were amazing. I can see now why they tell spoiled Richmonders to arrive two hours early for a domestic flight. Long lines to check in and longer lines for security. Susan had some of her hair products confiscated and was not happy. At least they didn't try to have her fingerprinted. Ha Ha.

We are settling in here today but will meet Vicki (our guide and interpreter) tomorrow morning and go to the civil authorities building where we will meet Annabelle. Stay tuned.

We are in China

Just dropping a quick note to let you all know we have made it to Guangzhou and will depart tomorrow for Changsha. We are staying at the airport hotel, very nice, with broadband internet, stocked refrigerator, and scenic views of both the airport and our own bathroom! See photos.
