Today we took the metro to Beijing Road to visit the Xin Hua
Bookstore, a large multilevel bookstore with a wide selection. Jacob
and Joshua both love to read, especially Joshua. We bought a few
books, in Chinese of course. On the way home, we had a snack at
McDonald's and bought some more clothes for Joshua, who was in need.
Now we are back at the hotel and thinking about supper and tomorrow. I
think we will try our luck at swimming tonight and/or tomorrow. Jacob
has never been in the pool so this could be fun, or not. Wednesday we
go to the U. S. Consulate for a ceremony of sorts. On Thursday, we get
the kids visas and take the train to Hong Kong, overnight at the Sky
City Marriot, and head for home Friday morning (Thursday evening to
you Eastern time zone folks). The trip takes 20-24 hours but we get 12
hours back with the time change so it will just seem like a really
really really long day. 96842876876 is a really big number, right
