The iPad has certainly changed the way we deal with mom and Jacob's absence. It is bittersweet in a way, however, because we can see them and hear them, but when we reach out to touch them it feels like the screen of an iPad, not a sweet little boy from Nanning or a warm, loving girl from Sardis (sigh).
